Meet Bruce Halabisky and Tiffany Loney!

Bruce and Tiffany will be training and supporting the crews heading to Denmark for the 2026 Contest. Their two daughters will be on the crew, too. 

Bruce and Tiffany currently live on Orcas Island, WA after taking an 11 year circumnavigation in their 34 ft. wooden gaff cutter, Vixen. Bruce joined Atlantic Challenge at age 19 and it changed his life. Bruce went from being a participant to being a coach, a boat builder and a blue water metal winner. Bruce really enjoys the international aspect of AC, meeting people from other countries with similar interests and of course messing around in these traditional boats. 

Tiffany is a lover of movement. Sailing, dancing and being on the sea is where she feels at home. Tiffany and Bruce raised their two daughters while sailing around the world . She enjoys traveling with a focus that connects people. She runs a dance program on Orcas Island and in her down time she is happily working in her garden.
