Belfast Harbor Rows May- October 2026
Come row, sing, or ride along in Belfast harbor, Maine in our 38 ft Bantry Bay gig! You can save your place on the calendar below. All ages and abilities welcome!
Park at the base of Pierce St, Belfast, ME 04915 or in the dirt lot by Front Street Pub/Shipyard. The yellow boat Humanité is located on the dock closest to the Footbridge and Harborwalk.
Join a crew of up to 12 people - 10 rowing stations, 1 coxswain, and 1 additional space for ride-a-longs/those willing to switch in half way through. We have enough adult sized XS-XL lifejackets, or you can bring your own. If you have accompany a child, please bring a child sized life jacket. Recommended to bring a layer, rain jacket and a water bottle.
Our coxswains will orient you to rowing and offer instruction. Our song leaders will lead call-and-response songs to match the rhythm of the rowing strokes. The first several minutes (or you can arrive 10 min early to help!) will be bailing the boat out, and setting out the oars. You can reserve/cancel directly yourself on this calendar below. We suggest a $20 donation per row. Thanks for your support and for being part of our community on the water!
