September Transit Greens Island to Castine
September 4th - 5th
On Friday September 4th, we will take the 8:45am ferry to Vinalhaven from Rockland and a short power boat ride to Greens Island. Row and sail one of our gigs from Greens Island to Castine, camping on an island halfway in between. We will arrive on the public dock in Castine in the afternoon of Saturday September 5th.
We will bring one gig and one chase boat.
Group size: two instructors and a cook, and up to 12 participants, ages 14 - up.
Sliding Scale Tuition:
Supportive Rate: $180
Baseline Rate: $150
Reduced Rate: $120
Tuition covers: Instruction, Safety gear, Saturday night dinner, Sunday Breakfast and lunch, Insurance.
You will need to bring a lunch on Saturday, cover your ferry ticket from Rockland to Vinalhaven ($11.50), bring a tent/sleeping bag, and coordinate your transportation home. We will send out an email in advance to coordinate carpools.
